Improving the health of our community
The 1891 Society was established in 2014 to give special recognition to physicians who wish to improve the health of our community through philanthropy by supporting Erlanger Health System Foundations.
This society of active and retired physicians continues the tradition of healthcare excellence in the Erlanger Health System by providing funds for the latest medical technology, education, community outreach, and capital improvements.
Membership in the 1891 Society is limited to physicians.
Membership requires a minimum commitment of $5,000, which may be paid over a five-year period.
This gift amount signifies the same contribution Baron Frederic Emile d’Erlanger made in 1891 to build Erlanger Hospital.
Gifts of more than $5,000 may qualify the physician and spouse for recognition in other giving
